Congratulations to Jacob Silvestri, EdD (ELC 01), who has received the State University of New York State Chancellor's Award for Excellence in Teaching. He is an assistant professor in the Physical Education Department at Renesslaer. For Silvestri's dissertation, "Exemplary Professors: Factors Leading Toward the Development of Award-Winning Teachers," he interviewed past participants to learn what made them good teachers.
