The oldest student organization in Fielding's history, Our Sisters' Place honored its founder, Cathy Royal (pictured) in July. In 1991 then-HOD student Royal embodied the university's spirit of social justice and diversity by bringing together white women and women of color to discuss race and privilege and to provoke transformative learning experiences for participants.

Lee Mahon, a faculty member in Fielding's School of Educational Leadership & Change, has been selected as a peer reviewer for the Fulbright Scholars Program. This prestigious award reflects on both Mahon’s distinguished career and on the significant contributions to education scholarship made by Fielding’s faculty.
Fielding colleagues with previous Fulbright affiliations include President Richard Meyers, who served in Egypt in the mid-1970s, and Provost Gloria Willingham, who had a State Department appointment.

The Center for Hispanic Leadership provides talent development and consulting to corporations for the advancement of Hispanic professionals.
