Provost Willingham Selected for ACE Institute

Posted by Sylvia Williams on Mon, Oct 11, 2010

Fielding Provost Gloria Willingham, PhD, is among the 35 provosts or VPs who were selected for the American Council on Education’s one-year “Chief Academic Officers Institute.” Their first session was held in Berkeley, California; future sessions are scheduled in Florida and in Washington, D.C., at ACE Headquarters.

Other Fielding leaders have had similar relationships with ACE. Former Provost Anna DiStefano, EdD, was an ACE Fellow, and former President Judy Kuipers, PhD, was a member of the ACE board of directors. Fielding’s current President Richard Meyers, PhD, has been involved in ACE in a number of roles during his 35-year career as a college and university president.
