Three new members to join Fielding board of trustees

Fielding’s Board of Trustees will welcome these new members at their Fall Meeting on November 3-5, 2011.

Otto Lee, EdD (’09, ELC), is vice chancellor for instructional services and planning for the San Diego (CA) Community College District. As such, he provides leadership and planning for instructional programs, workforce and economic development, and military educational programs for 100,000 students. 

Lee holds a BS in aerospace engineering (NYU), an MS in astronautics (MIT), an MBA (Pepperdine), and an EdD (Fielding). He is engaged with numerous community and professional organizations.


Edward G. Viltz lives in Bradenton, FL, and is president and founder of the Internet Collaboration Coalition (InternetCC). He has over 25 years of international executive management, consulting, and entrepreneurial experience in the information technology marketplace. Viltz was the founding president of the Public Interest Registry (PIR) and manager of the .ORG top level Internet domain, serving from 2002 through 2006.


Manuela Waddell of Lee’s Summit, MO, is a doctoral student in Fielding’s clinical psychology program. She is active in student governance and currently working on her dissertation. Waddell’s areas of interest include chemical and process addictions, child and midlife development, psychology of women, and psychoanalytic/psychodynamic theory and practice.
